The following
tournaments are events that Missouri scholastic players attend, including Kansas
and Illinois tournaments.

Missouri-Kansas Border Showdown Tournament
Date: Saturday May 1st, 2010
Who: All kids in grades Kindergarten to 12th grade can play. School with most players holds traveling trophy.
Where: Collector’s Cache 13354 College Blvd Lenexa, Kansas 66210
Tournament Directors: CJ Armenta and Ken Fee
Three Sections: K-3, K-6, K-12.
Teams: Players who live in Kansas will be on the Kansas team, and players who live in Missouri will be on the Missouri team. There will be two teams playing for the Kansas Missouri Cup. Players are welcome and encouraged to wear Kansas and Missouri t-shirts!
Five Rounds/Game 30 /Each player has thirty minutes to finish the game. No time delay.

Entry Fees:
$10.00 per player if pre-registered by Thursday April 29, 2010.
$15.00 per player onsite.
All players please pay on site. Make check payable to Collector’s Cache
Players must check in by 9:30 am in order to be paired the 1st round.
Awards: Individual Trophies for 1st –3rd each section and 20
medals per section.
The winning state will take home the Missouri/ Kansas Championship Cup for one
year. School with most players will hold traveling cup.
Ratings: The higher of the USCF, KSCA or CXR ratings will be used. No memberships are required.
